  • We have great trophies on all three days.
    • On Friday the theme is dog beds and crate mats.
    • On Saturday we have original works of glass art with an etched Welsh Springer.
      • Ranging from a large bowl to a votive candle holder.
    • On Saturday our top four Sweepstakes prizes are mirrors.
      • Hand painted by Greater Chesapeake officer Clay Evans. Everyone who saw the hand painted clocks at the National last year knows what a great artist Clay is and we can’t wait to see her efforts this time.
    • On Sunday the theme is grooming equipment with the top three prizes being grooming tables.

  • Friday and Sunday trophies are made possible by the generosity of members of the Greater Chesapeake regional club.

  • It wouldn’t be a Greater Chesapeake-hosted event if we didn’t feed our guests well!
    • Plan on coffee, tea and doughnuts in the mornings in the WSSCA hospitality tent on the show grounds.
    • Saturday at midday we will have a sandwich buffet and drinks for everyone.
      • Bring your chair and join us for food and camaraderie on Saturday.

  • The Greater Chesapeake WSSC is honored to organize and host a traditional “Irish Wake” for our departed friend, Colleen OKeefe.
    • This will take place on Saturday afternoon at Margaret Hilliard’s home which is just around the corner from the show site.
    • We will have authentic Irish liquid refreshments and authentic Virginia barbecue.
    • Please come ready to listen to music, perhaps do a little singing, make toasts and tell stories about Colleen.

  • We look forward to seeing you in Virginia at the end of September.
